LCMS Young Singles Retreat: “Finding the Courage to Act”

Saturday, August 10 • 1:00-7:00pm

LCMS singles (high school graduates thru age 30ish) are invited to join us here at Saint John on Saturday, August 10 for our third annual Singles Retreat. This retreat is for those who are not dating, those who are dating, even those who are engaged.

Our theme is Nerve Wrecked: Finding the Courage to Act. Anxiety about the future, fear of failure, and failure to thrive are some of the most talked about issues with regard to young adults today. Participants will explore the insights Holy Scripture gives for facing our fears, finding our nerve, and having the courage to act.

The afternoon will feature two keynote presentations by Pastor Braaten, prayer offices, indoor and outdoor activities, food, and fun. Participants are welcome to hang around after 7:00pm and play board games. The cost is only $20 per person. Come and get to know other LCMS singles who faithfully confess Jesus Christ and the one true faith.
