Join us this eve of our Lord’s victory as we celebrate our baptism into Christ’s death and resurrection. This candlelight service begins in almost total darkness with the lighting of the paschal candle, features Old Testament readings that foreshadow and explain our baptismal life in Christ, and ends with the blessings of Holy Baptism and the Easter litany. Come and join in one of the church year’s most beautiful services.
Join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection with a festive Matins service and a festive Divine Service. The sunrise service (6:04am) begins outside with the Easter acclamation, includes resurrection Scripture readings and joyous hymns, and features special music. The 9:00am service begins with the Easter acclamation, includes resurrection Scripture readings, joyous hymns, and a Gospel procession, and features special choral music. Both include the Supper of our Lord’s resurrected body and blood. Come and celebrate with your brothers and sisters in Christ!
All are welcome to join us in the multi-purpose room between worship services on Easter morning for a delicious breakfast. The menu consists of homemade egg/sausage casserole, homemade French toast bake, biscuits and homemade sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, ham, milk, juice, and coffee. Due to the high cost of food, cash donations are welcome ahead of time (via your offering envelope, earmarked Easter breakfast) or on Easter morning. All are welcome.
“Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”
1 Corinthians 15:20-22
